The image quality of the Loki system is unsurpassed thanks to its optical engine based on our acclaimed Optix architecture, custom-designed spherical glass components, and enhanced low-dispersion glass lenses. It not only offers higher contrast, but also a more visible level of detail in the darkest parts of the image.

State-of-the-art electronic components

All of the new “Platinum” electronic components are designed to process 4K with HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2, while the most advanced 0.9 «DMD DLP chipset is used for the optical engine, capable of reproducing 3,840 x 2,160 pixels in screen.

Loki also includes HDR, motorized lenses and automatic aspect detection between 16: 9 and CinemaScope. By incorporating Barco’s exclusive RealColor processing, Loki enables easy and accurate calibration to any white point or grayscale.

Laser light source

Unbeatable image quality also requires an exceptional light source. That’s why Loki comes equipped with a new laser engine. Along with the significant improvement in image uniformity, lasers last longer than traditional projector lamps, are less fragile, and allow almost instantaneous on / off of the light source. The light output is up to 12,000 ANSI lumens.
