Featuring 4K UHD resolution, 6,500 lumens of laser illumination and custom Barco Pulse electronics, Barco Medea has been optimized for unprecedented fun in small to medium-sized newsrooms.

Professional level optics

Medea’s optical engine architecture is simply world class. It is constructed from custom designed aspherical glass elements and improved low dispersion glass lenses. The quality of the resulting image is simply exceptional.

Advanced electronics

The new “Pulse” electronic devices were developed on a superior FPGA platform, with a dual-core processor in the industry’s only 20nm SoChave, with 96 transceiver linhttps://audiopro.com.mx/product/barco-medea/es offering 3.3 Tbps of serial bandwidth. It is designed to process 4K with HDMI 2.0a and HDCP 2.2 and HDR10 with extremely low latency, thanks to our unique single-pass processing technology. Barco’s RealColor processing enables simple and accurate calibration of any desired white point or gray scale.

Award-winning DLP technology

Medea uses TI’s latest 0.66 “digital micromirror array, displays 4K ultra-high definition 3840 × 2160 pixels on screen, features 5.4 micron micromirror distance and ± 17 ° micromirror tilt ( relative to the flat surface).

Laser light source

Medea comes equipped with a new laser engine. In addition to significantly improved image uniformity, lasers last longer than traditional projector lamps, are not as fragile, and offer a virtually instantaneous on / off function. The light output is up to 6500 ANSI lumens.
