DiGiCo A88 GPIO
DiGiCo A88 GPIO
The 4REA4 Customised DSP Engine has 8×8 on board GPIO ports. You can extend the number of GPIO’s anywhere in the installation using the network-based A88GPIO.
- Expand GPIO ports in different physical locations
- PoE powered or External 12V PSU
- Sits on 4REA4 Control network – standard TCP/IP
- Compatible with standard network products
A88 GPIO is a general purpose I/O interface for control integration of a 4rea4 system and third-party hardware, offering 8 opto-coupled inputs and 8 relay outputs on Phoenix connectors, in addition to two +10V DC outputs.
Up to 8 GPIO modules can be connected to a 4rea4 system via Cat5 cable, directly or via a network switch. GPIO functions are programmed using 4rea4 Controller software and can be configured for a number of install and broadcast applications, including EVAC (alarm / system mute), broadcast (on air lights, fader start logic) and theatre automation (curtains, lights)
The GPIO interface shall provide eight opto-isolated inputs (switched to ground) and eight normally-open relay outputs. Control connection to the main processor shall be via Ethernet. Output one may be internally configured to be normally closed.
The unit shall be powered either via PoE or 12VDC external power supply. A recessed network reset switch shall reset the interface to a default IP address.
A maximum of eight GPIO interfaces may be connected to the central processor. The dimensions of the GPIO interface shall be: 42.4 (h) x 171 (w) x 197.6 (d) mm 1.66 (h) x 6.73 (w) x 7.77 (d) inches Unpacked Weight: 1.3Kgs. (2.87lbs.) Mounting shall be wherever is convenient and two units may be mounted together in a rack with optional rack ears. The GPIO interface shall be a DiGiCo A88 GPIO.
