DiGiCo SD-RE Rack
DiGiCo SD-RE Rack
The SD-RE is a redundant engine for a DiGiCo SD10 console. It can connect to a 12-fader remote worksurface and a screen, keyboard and mouse.
It provides the same type of redundancy option for an SD10 that is standard on our flagship, dual engine SD7.
By simply connecting the compact, 3U box to the console with an Ethernet crossover cable and the system’s audio racks using MADI or Optocore, the SD RE provides a seamless backup for the console.
The console’s control computer, audio engine, software application and important worksurface controls can all be duplicated on the redundant system, offering either automatic or manual switchover whenever it’s required.
- Compact Redundant Engine for SD10
- Optional 12 fader remote worksurface for tactile control
The DiGiCo SD-RE shall be a redundant engine for mirroring with an SD10. It shall be accompanied by the SD Remote Fader, which shall provide one bank of 12 faders and snapshot next and previous buttons.
Once connected to a DiGiCo SD10 console via a crossover ethernet cable and connected to the audio racks with the desired format, the SD-RE shall provide full engine redundancy like seen in the DiGiCo SD
The engine shall be capable of 144 input channels, 64 Aux/Sub-group Busses, a LR/LCR/LCRS/5.1 Master Buss, 24 VCA style or mute group style Control Group channels, 2 Solo Busses, and a 24 input x 24 output full processing Matrix. All processing paths shall have full processing including Tube emulation, Dynamic EQ and Multiband Compression. Tube emulation, Dynamic EQ and Multiband Compression shall be available on every channel and Buss on the console. All processing shall be internal and FPGA-Based. An internal FX rack with 24 stereo slots shall allow users to pick from 34 different FX. An internal set of 24 32-band GEQs shall also be accessible
