Yamaha CBR12
Yamaha CBR12 Loudspeakers
The CBR12 represents the perfect balance between size and performance. Perfect for mainstream PA systems, but also as a floor monitor or even hanging in fixed installations, the CBR12 is the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications.
The CBR Series is a new line of passive loudspeakers that has been developed by adopting the extensive knowledge of loudspeaker design and all acoustic technologies that Yamaha has accumulated throughout its long history of manufacturing loudspeakers of all classes. In addition to an innovative approach, a meticulous material selection process has been combined with specially designed audio components. Our engineers focused all their work on creating a design where great power capacity, high definition sound, easy portability and versatility prevail in equal parts, resulting in speakers that are ideal for a wide variety of applications: in a main live sound system, as floor monitors or hanging in a fixed installation. – Specially designed drivers and wide dispersion constant directionality horn for powerful, high definition sound. – High response treble unit and bass unit protection function for maximum reliability at all power levels. – Resistant boxes and very easy to transport. – Very simple connectivity. – Versatility that makes them perfect for a wide variety of applications. – Resistant boxes and very easy to transport. – Very simple connectivity. – Versatility that makes them perfect for a wide variety of applications. – Resistant boxes and very easy to transport. – Very simple connectivity. – Versatility that makes them perfect for a wide variety of applications.
The CBR series loudspeakers are equipped with specially designed and selected drivers, with a very high response bass unit and a high precision 2.5 «» (CBR15) or 2 «» (CBR10 and CBR12) that ensure high definition and minimal sound distortion, even at high power levels. In addition, a wide dispersion, constant directionality horn minimizes the deterioration of the oblique radiation pattern, a deterioration towards which conventional horns tend. This allows the sound to spread out in a more rectangular pattern, thereby spreading a much wider frequency band to the extreme ends of the range.
It will not be the first time that speakers have been damaged by receiving more power than they can handle. The CBR series loudspeakers have a protection function that limits excessive signal input to the treble unit. This protection circuit is very valuable because it allows the loudspeakers to work without risk or worrying about a problem when they are needed most. And if you add a very high response bass unit to this, the CBR series loudspeakers are a guarantee of clear and precise sound at any power level.
The CBR series speaker cabinets are very compact and made of durable, lightweight plastic. On the other hand, its newly designed ergonomic handles greatly facilitate both transport and installation. In addition, all CBR models have an elegant steel front grille that blends perfectly with the aesthetics of any installation while protecting vital components inside the speaker from external hazards.
