Since the 1976 launch of the P2200, our first professional amplifier, Yamaha has strived to achieve the highest possible level of sound quality, power and reliability in the field of live sound, studios and fixed installations. The new PX series amplifiers continue this tradition of excellence, using Yamaha’s renowned signal processing technology and our unrivaled professional audio expertise to achieve a lightweight, durable design capable of delivering maximum power to the speakers at the same time. that protects them with optimized processing. With a newly developed Class D amplifier at the core, the four new models that make up the PX series are suitable for a wide variety of live and fixed installation applications and environments.
The PX series models have at their core a newly developed Class D amplifier that concentrates all the necessary functions in a single specially designed LSI chip, and uses PLL technology to control the transfer characteristics in real time, achieving sound quality and impressive power. This new single-chip architecture offers more power output and improved performance, with a lighter yet more reliable design. Combining state-of-the-art technology with an exhaustive component selection process makes the PX series amplifiers extremely efficient, while at the same time being characterized by low noise, reliable protection functions and, above all, by its outstanding sound quality.
