Bogen MCD1X2U Speaker Module and Grille Kit

The MCD1X2U from Bogen is a measures 1’ x 2’. It can be placed in 2’ x 2 tile grids with the use of an included separate tile support rail. Ceiling grille has a bright-white, powder-coated finish, is constructed of industrial grade steel, and includes 3 seismic attachment points.

For a 2’ x 2’ ceiling tile space opening, remove the existing ceiling tile and cut the tile to 11-1/2” long.

2. Place the MCD1X2UGRILLE into ceiling opening, making sure the corner with perforated speaker holes is situated on corner of existing ceiling grid.

3. Place the supplied Tile Bridge onto the ceiling grid and slide to the center, allowing MCD1X2UGRILLE to rest upon the Tile Bridge lip.

4. Re-install the cut ceiling tile back onto the ceiling grid

and Tile Bridge lip.

5. For a 2’ x 4’ ceiling tile space opening, remove the existing tile and cut the tile to 35-1/2” long. Then follow steps 2 thru 4 to position ceiling speaker
